PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE The Underground Mine Superintendent will drive the implementation of the mining schedule and ensure contractor compliance to mining standards is maintained. This is to be achieved by: Providing operational advice and guidance to the mine planning team to ensure mining plans and schedules are well informed, robust, and sound from an operational perspective. Management of mining contractor on day-to-day operations with input into higher-level management of the contractor. Proactively measuring, monitoring and supporting our underground mine contractor partners to achieve the mining schedule milestones through safe and efficient mining.
